Daniel Karl Cassidy was born on July 11th 1964, in Washington D.C. to a musical family. At ten years of age he began the violin, finding his first musical partner in his sister Eva Cassidy (who had a number 1 record in the UK, Song Bird). At 20, Dan left America to tour Europe professionally. Continuing his development as a performing artist, Dan moved to Iceland in 1992, and is now a sought after session musician. This is his debut CD as a solo artist.
