"What makes me different? Yes, I'm a blonde female singer singing pop and R&B but I'm from Iceland! I'm bringing different influences and experiences to my music and my album is truly an international affair." So says Svala, a stunning beauty whose sizzling debut album for Priority Records serves as an exciting introduction for U.S. audiences. A recording artist in her native land since she was just seven years old, the personable singer with cover girl looks brings a combination of sass and soul to THE REAL ME, her auspicious first CD.

It's clear that Svala has the potential to become Iceland's first international commercial pop star. The music is smooth, she looks like an angel and her voice is pure silk. The album The Real Me will be released by Priority Records on the 11 of September in the U.S. followed by Virgin release for other territories.

Svala is on track and starting to get the attention from US radio. Her debut single "The Real Me" which is writen and produced by Murlyn Music´s Andreas Bagge and A. Birgisson has now been added on to more than 100 radio stations playlists all a cross the US. Among the station welcoming Svala into the world of pop is KIIS FM in L.A. and C-100 in New York.
Svala first single was released in the US on the third of July and is now starting to be noticed on Billboards top 100 single list, something Skifan and our partners at Priority Records never thought would happen this fast.
Releases in other areas of the world are in progress and is scheduled late September, early October this year. Lets cross our fingers and hope the best.
