Iceland has rarely been regarded as an obvious source of notable popular music, but that was before the advent of SELMA, a 26 year old for whom many have predicted stardom. This is largely on the basis of her memorable single, 'All Out Of Luck', which topped the Icelandic chart for seven weeks and was voted 'Single of 1999' by Billboard columnist Fred Bronson, and the album, I Am, which topped the Icelandic album chart for five weeks. A feat no other Icelandic artist has ever achieved.

SELMA was already well-known in Iceland before her chart topping single and album. An experienced choreographer and singer in stage musicals, Selma is an excellent performer. Selma's first international album will include songs from her first two hugely successful Icelandic releases, the hits: I Am, I Regret It, Every Little Thing and What Could I Do.
