Hera
Icelandic singer/song writer Hera, has been based in New Zealand for 8 years, Hera began playing classical guitar at 8. At 15 she began experimenting with voice melodies and by 1999
She released her first home recording titled Homemade 99.
Described as contemporary folk-pop, Hera´s repertoire consists of over 70 songs, 18 of which are on her latest CD Not so Sweet. Hera is currently here in Iceland, with a song in Baltasar Kormakur´s new movie The Sea/Hafid also touring with Bubbi Morthens and will be playing at the Airwaves festival at Nasa on the 17th of october along with 3 members of Bubbi´s band Stríd og fridur whom she will also be recording with in the coming weeks.
