GusGus is an Electronic Soul band formed in 1995.  A short break in the making of the short film "Pleasure" made it possible for the first gusgus self-titled album to be born.  In 1996 gusgus  got a deal with 4AD.  This collaboration gave birth to 3 albums. "Polydistortion", "This Is Normal" and finally "gusgus vs t-world". During the 4AD years gusgus started touring massively, stirring the musicworld with their powerful live-show.  In 2000 the group changed.  6 original members leave and the 3 remaining producers found hope in a new female singer, Earth. In 2002 gusgus made their 4th studio album.

On ATTENTION gusgus keep up the habit of a cover song and this time it is Jimi Tenor's "Call of the Wild ". gusgus collaborate with producer Garreth Jones and Daniel Agust former gusgus singer/songwriter on Desire and keep up to their "live performing " reputation with the Look Busy Tour. Dancing people down from Europe, N-America, South America and Asia.  Always putting maximum effort to every performance, talking sound or visuals.

ATTENTON aires a new visual side with Paul Mcmenamin/Spine as Art Director.  gusgus are their own masters when it comes to making music videos and live-visuals. With inspirations from friends and lovers in Reykjavik City, Aftur, Simon Scott/Process, You, Sweeney, Filmus, Noah/Spine and Arni Sveinsson Hassen, half of Director Gus Hassen,  gusgus has produced 4 music videos for ATTENTION:  Dance You Down, David, Call of the Wild and Desire.

gusgus are respected for their choice of remixers with Captain Comatose, Carl Craig, Aaron-Carl, 16B, Darren Emerson, Mark Bell, MAW and many more putting their love into it.  gusgus also hold an impressive rooster of remixes with Bjork, Depeche Mode, Aaron-Carl, Model 500, Roy Davis jr., Captain Comatose, Sigurros, Einar Orn and Robert Owens on top of the list!

BIRGIR THORARINSSON:
Birgir is a computer scientist.  Forming the band T-WORLD in 1992 he set the standard for the ambient house in Reykjavik.  In 1993 Maggi Lego aka Buckmaster joins the band and they make classics like " ANTHEM" and "PURPLE" a reality.  Birgir is a dj with experience as he spun "HOLLYWOOD" in the late 80's.

MAGNUS GUDMUNDSSON
Magnus aka  Bukmaster De La Cruz is a dj.  Buckmaster has been obsessed with collecting vinyl since 12 years old and is still there, in the record store looking for the perfect love-song.
Buckmaster also made a remarkable contribution to the birth of the icelandic dancescene with his amazing dj sets at Rosenberg, a small club downtown Reykjavik, between 1992 and 1995. Buckmaster is also a big fan of French cars.

URDUR HAKONARDOTTIR
Urdur aka Earth has been in 5 different groups in Reykjavik although gusgus is the first band that she actually sings in.  Earth joins gusgus in year 2000 and blows fresh wind to the gusgus sail, destination ATTENTION!  Earth was born like this, she had no choice. Born with the gift of the soft black voice.  Earth also works with other producers such as Blake, Tommi White and Darren Emerson but is foremost the gusgus diva and of course a gusgus dj.  Earth puts alot of love in her appearance and is equally talented stylist/designer as a singer....

STEPHAN STEPHENSEN
Originally the bassplayer of TUSSULL, Stephan aka President Bongo is a photographer with a twist.  Along with gusgus's cinematography, photography and directing the President is a dj responsible for many things in Reykjavik. The elf 19 recordsstore (1996-1998 ) and the Heartbeat night ( 1998 - 1999 ) in collaboration with Björk and Mr. Destiny and photography exhibitions, private and collective (1994-?), to name some.  The President also gives a hand creating an interesting line-up for the Airwaves festival in Reykjavik each year.
