Monika Abendroth
Monika Abendroth harpist, graduated in music from the Folkwanghoch-schule in Essen in Germany, and shortly after was hired as harpist at the Rheinische Philhamonie in Koblenz. Her path led to Iceland where she´s been working with the Icelandic Symphony Orhestra since 1976. She has given solo-concerts both in Iceland and Germany, and has worked with numerous choirs and chambermusic groups. Her craft can be enjoyed on various recordings.
