Two years later their debut album called "Nature is not a virgin", was released by Error (R&R) musik, Iceland. A limited U.S version of the album will be out soon. Ampop’s latest release is a 7” single “ on Static Caravan Recordings (known for artists such as Isan, Manual & Ellis Island Sound). The single, features “made for market” as an original and remixed by Force Inc. artist Plastik (a.k.a. Yagya). So far it has recieved great reviews and comments such as “Ampop are the new Erasure”.

On stage Ampop are assisted by several talents. Prince Valium adds synth sounds to the mix, along with Nói who plays the guitar, and sometimes Stafrænn Hákon adds his wonderful guitar textures too.
