Hudson Wayne was formed early in the year 2002. Thrainn Oskarsson sings and plays the bass, Hakon Adalsteinsson plays slide guitar, Birgir Vidarsson plays guitar and Helgi drums.

The first record, the 5-song Slightly out of Hank, was released by our own record label, mineur-aggressif, in July 2002. We made 250 copies, which we managed to sell thanks to the aggressif staff at the late Hljómalind. The album was recorded in our rehearsal space over a weekend by Alex MacNeil from Kimono. The album received a fine review by the local underground music newspaper Morgunblaðið. The release was followed up by a few outdoor concerts during the summer followed by Airwaves followed by oh ja and the oja ja.

In the autumn we recorded the second album, I'm a fox, also with Alex, at the mineur-aggressif studio. Also released by our own label, we made some 250 copies and still have a few copies left. The album also received a fine review in the local underground music newspaper
